This is my uncensored story of suffering with hemorrhoids. It documents the ups, the downs, what didn’t work for me, and finally the one hemorrhoid miracle that cured me – over 3 years ago now.

I never thought I would suffer with a condition like hemorrhoids – a problem that’s associated with inactivity and sub-par diets. However, 5 years ago my work life took a drastic change, and not one that would benefit my health. I was transferred to another work place that would have a different job description. I bought a membership to a gym close to where I worked and was able to get some exercise 4 days a week, after work. But when I had the opportunity to work overtime, the gym membership just vanished into the background. I began buying take away meals on the way home and I became, in a word, lazy. Working with people less fortunate than me on a daily basis makes you realise how truly fragile and precious our own health is. But in my fear and stress I would always push those thoughts to the back of my head. I was too busy, and besides, it would never happen to me, right?

Well, wrong. The day I started to experience the symptoms of piles was an important lesson for me. I had been suffering with constipation all week, and was now shocked to see blood in the toilet bowl. I was shocked, but I shouldn’t have been – it was my own fault.
